story, continued

I had a lot of fun playing with and learning from superb musicians like Edgar Meyer, Dave Koz, Phil Woods, Clare Fischer and Dave Grusin and others. Studio work has been exciting too, recording CD's with artists like Jeff Gauthier, Nels and Alex Cline. Don Preston, Mare Winningham, Bill Holman, Vinny Golia, plus the occasional film score and jingles.

Rich Ruttenberg, Jerry Kalaf and I also just recorded a jazz CD called "This Side Up", available on CDbaby, and we are pretty excited about it.

You can see me live with the Jeff Gauthier Goatette, Nels and Alex Cline; Bill Holman's Big Band; the Phil Norman Tentette; the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center; the St. Matthew's Symphony Orchestra; Don Preston; and I just played Catalina's with Laynie Kazan.

The rest of the time, I play a little bit of everything: acoustic, electric, jazz gigs, shows, cabaret, jazz singers, folk-rock, chamber music and the odd symphony gig - whatever the call is.

Next is "Seussical", a new musical based on the stories of Dr. Seuss - pretty fun stuff.
